This is possible thanks to the optimal folding of the two aluminium roof shells in approximately 20 seconds. With the top closed, the roof line of the roadster adopts a coupe-style silhouette, and the generous side and rear windows ensure captivating panorama views. Whether you choose to drive with the roof open or closed, it’s never a question of style but always of the moment.

Golf in the summer, skiing in the winter, with the BMW Z4 Roadster you never have to leave your equipment behind. The boot can hold up to four drink crates or a 46-inch golf bag and even a second if you choose the optional through-loading system. Alternatively, you can take two pairs of skis with you. In the cockpit a transportation bag is used to secure your equipment, and in the boot there are specially constructed ski rests. To load bulky items easily, the roof package is moved out of the rear section when the hardtop is closed.

The rear windows can be opened independently of the hardtop being open or closed to meet your personal temperature preferences, and the light roof liner in Oyster imparts a feeling of additional spaciousness. However, the biggest advantage of the panorama view is the more you can see, the safer your journey.

Whether you’re driving with the roof opened or closed, you are always fully protected in the BMW Z4 Roadster. Two attractive roll-over bars in ruthenium-look steel ensure maximum safety combined with aesthetic design. Together, the roll bars and reinforced windscreen form a protective safety zone for occupants should the unthinkable happen.

Whether it be your mobile phone, credit card, keys, sunglasses, cough sweets, maps or mug of fresh coffee, in the BMW Z4 Roadster there is space for everything and everything has a place: in the door panels, the centre console, the glove compartment and the instrument panel.
