The visceral intensity of 320 PS(390 PS in the FX50S) and a surging acceleration swell make the power seem effortless. Accelerate to 100 km/h in only 5.8 seconds in the FX50S and listen closely to the roar of the engine – the beauty is in the details: confident and exuberant.
For maximum agility, optimum balance and smoother directional changes, the engine is placed as far back as possible in a front mid-ship format, better balancing the weight distribution between the axles. The four Wheel Active Steering (4WAS) in the G37S and G37S Coupe maximises grip and increases stability at higher speeds without sacrificing driving sensation. And in extreme situations, a viscous Limited Slip Differential (LSD) distributes torque between the rear wheels. For athletic precision on the road, the FX50S features Rear Active Steering (RAS)1.
The intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system (ATTESA E-TS AWD), standard on the FX, EX37 and optional on the G37, dynamically adapts to road conditions: shifting power to the front wheels to boost traction and control when conditions are difficult and in good conditions, shifting power to the rear wheels for greater driving pleasure.
Sports brakes are available on almost all models, featuring lightweight aluminium opposite piston callipers to allow for bigger brake discs without added weight. The 350 mm and 355 mm discs ensure better control, improved fade resistance and faster, stronger stopping power.
