The new 2010 Range Rover with ever more elegance. A new, larger, three-bar grille provides an even more commanding on-road presence. Complemented with a Titan silver finish to the front grille and fender vents, the diamond mesh design allows for greater air-intake, maximising performance and capability. A unique Noble-plated finish on the Autobiography lends the consummate detail to this gracious vehicle.

Unique new 2010 Range Rover front lamps make optimum use of Bi-xenon and LED technology, offering ‘automatic on’ functionality and directional lighting. Automatic High Beam Assist for the new headlights detects oncoming or followed vehicles to switch between high and dipped beam.

The whiter light from these headlights provides exceptional illumination that also moves with the vehicle’s pitch and steering direction. New three-striped LED indicators at the side of the vehicle announce a theme that continues to the all-LED rear lamps.

The new Surround Camera System uses five cameras situated around the vehicle to provide an almost complete 360 degree view on the Touch-screen. The screen views help to ensure drivers do not miss objects below their line of sight and also gives vital views at ‘blind’ junctions. The camera system’s Towing Assist is another Range Rover first, equipping drivers with guidance for coupling a trailer as well as with the trajectory of the trailer when reversing.

Another enhancement to vehicle safety in the new 2010 Range Rover is the availability of a Blind Spot Monitor. This new system utilises side-mounted radar sensors to survey the vehicle’s blind spot. If a vehicle is detected within this area, a bright amber warning icon is illuminated in the driver’s mirror, identifying the hazard and helping prevent a potential collision.

Fitted with all-terrain tyres, The Range Rover’s alloy wheels are effective, durable and attractive. A range of optional designs runs from a 19 inch 7-spoke as standard on the Vogue models, to a 20 inch 10-spoke polished or 20 inch Diamond Turned Wheel available on the Autobiography model.

Smart innovations create a more tranquil Range Rover cabin experience. Already soothed by the quiet of the vehicle’s advanced engine technology, additional levels of acoustic refinement are achieved with a laminated front screen and front door glass. Optional laminated rear door glass also helps protect the cabin from outside noise.

Designed to significantly reduce direct heat from the sun, the optional Climate Control windscreen helps maintain optimum cabin conditions for everyone, which in turn reduces the need for high fan speeds. Regardless of outside conditions, driving pleasure is never compromised in the new 2010 Range Rover.

The distinctive and stylish split tailgate – an intrinsic Range Rover signature – provides comprehensive access to the ample loadspace. The tailgate can also be lowered to a horizontal position and used as seating during tailgate picnics, for instance, or when changing into riding boots, hiking shoes or wellies.

The new 2010 Range Rover cocoons driver and passengers in the finest leather. Our insistence is on the softest, unblemished leathers from only the very highest quality hide. Designed to retain the leather’s natural grain and improve with use and age, as many as ten leather hides swathe the new Range Rover cabin. Stately leather glove box lids, centre vents and the driver’s knee airbag panel (available depending on model) only add to the luxurious appearance and comfort.

Autobiography takes the exclusiveness of The Range Rover to a higher level still. Accompanying the semi-aniline leather seats is full leather covering for the facia, door casings and leather binding on the floor mats. There is now a full leather headlining (including rear vanity mirrors) available for a truly unequalled experience.

Heated front seats are standard across the range. Front seats come with optional, console-controlled cooling on the Oxford and Blenheim leather trims.

On the new 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE and The Range Rover Autobiography, either front or rear semi-aniline leather seats can be heated and/or cooled depending on the choice of option.

Driver comfort and control is crucial. The new 2010 Range Rover sees the adoption of new controls and switches, including two new five-way toggle switches. These switches are used in tandem to controls a number of vehicle features, including the In Car Entertainment system and the TFT-LCD Virtual Instrument Panel.

High grade leather for the steering wheel with the addition of a Noble finish to the steering wheel spokes adds extra refinement. An optional heated half wood and half leather steering wheel adds further richness, visually appealing and with a feel that’s always sumptuous, never obvious. A complimenting wood and leather gear knob is also available.

The air-conditioning delivers stronger cooling, better airflow, less noise and more comfort than ever. The centre top vents enhance front ventilation and significantly quieten high fan speeds, while the available 4 zone air-conditioning responds to adverse weather and gives rear passengers full control over their climate.
