Fitted with the new integrated navigation system developed exclusively by Renault and TomTom, the New Scenic makes navigation a breeze. World-leading satellite navigation manufacturer TomTom is renowned for its user-friendly equipment. Simple to operate and update, this new navigation system warns you of danger areas and speed restrictions. It also provides continuous guidance, even when the satellite signal is lost, and is an integral part of the dashboard. No more giveaway wires or suckers on the windscreen – it’s made to match the interior design perfectly, and gets you to your destination with ease.

Exceptional roadholding, for exceptional driveability: that’s the aim. With the front and rear wheels at equal width, the New Scenic offers unrivalled balance and directional stability. The comfort and precision are equally superb on bends and wet surfaces. For responsiveness, it’s backed by understated, high-performance engines that accelerate freely, particularly with the dCi 160 diesel and TCe 130 petrol. All engines promise reduced consumption and CO2 emissions. New to the Scenic is a CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox that can be matched to the 2.0 VVT 140 engine. CVT transmission gives a smooth, efficient and quick rate of acceleration. Also available is the dCi 150 engine which comes with a 6-speed sequential shift proactive gearbox. So with the New Scenic, a people carrier can be environmentally responsible and rewarding to drive.

New Grand Scenics and Scenics carrying the eco2 symbol meet three criteria: they produce CO2 emissions at or lower than 140 g/km (as low as 135 g/km on the dCi 86 engine), they are manufactured at Maubeuge, an ISO 14001 certified factory, minimising their environmental impact, and they are 95% recyclable with 6% recycled plastic in their plastic mass.

With eco2, Renault displays its environmental commitment at every stage of the
life cycle of the vehicle. The vehicle has been designed in such a way that 95%
of the materials used could have a second life (recyclable for other use or as a source of energy), and that pollution control at the end of the vehicle’s life (in particular extraction of fluids) is made easier. Furthermore, this vehicle has parts made of recycled plastic and renewable materials.
