It’s a compact stylish car which gives you all the fun and excitement, but loses none of the practicality. Sometimes you just want to follow your own road.

Why be sensible all the time? Sometimes you just want to kick your heels
back and have fun. Just one look at the new Alto with its stylish curved body and you can’t help smiling. In a grey world, the Alto is a splash of colour. But it’s not just a fun car it’s a functional one too. With five doors it’s perfect for you and your friends and yet it’s still compact enough to park in the smallest of parking spaces. It’s also very economical with up to 74.3 mpg. Plus with CO2 emissions starting at only 103g/km it’s one of the cleanest cars around.

For a small car it’s big on protection. With ABS and dual front and side airbags standard across the range, all you have to worry about is choosing the colour that says the most about you.

The Alto body shape is eye-catching, curvaceous and stylish, which gives it a lot of character. It also gives it great aerodynamics. Little touches like the streamlined wing mirrors reduce drag and therefore help reduce fuel
consumption (64.2mpg on combined cycle) and CO2 emissions (103g/km)
The Alto also has a body shell that’s strong, but lightweight. And although the
new Alto is cute, it’s also sporty with sculpted rear detailing giving it a racy look.

The Alto is available in nine striking colours giving it a stylish and distinctive look.
The rounded front headlights add to its fun personality, whilst the more angular
rear lights give it a sleeker, sportier feel. There’s also a wide shapely tailgate with
internal opener. So whether it’s your gym bag or shopping bags, it’s easier to get
stuff in and out. For the finishing touch the SZ4 models add 14” alloy wheels,
front fog lamps and colour coded door mirrors and handles which complement
the car beautifully and give it a sporty look.

Whilst the outside catches your eye, it’s the inside that makes you take a closer look. The stylish dashboard design has a real sense of movement that echoes the curves of the body.

The new Alto may be compact, but it has been designed with a clever use of space giving ample room for four adults. Storage compartments are placed conveniently in the doors and central console, with bottle holders and space for two coffee cups. The Alto’s boot offers a useful 129L of space. Perfect for those weekends away, a trip to the beach or your weekly shop.

Life can get complicated. That’s why we’ve kept things simple and fun in the new
Alto. Everything is designed to be both easy to reach and to operate. The CD tuner lets you intuitively listen to a CD or tune into your favourite station. It’s also got MP3/WMA compatibility and you can even just plug in your iPod. There’s also handy storage compartments for your CDs, keys and drinks. An illuminated centre tray means you can easily find your keys or iPod at night. A fun environment should also be a relaxing one. That’s why there’s air conditioning for a more comfortable drive. The SZ4 model also adds a tachometer which gives an added touch of sportiness.

We designed the new Alto’s engine to be agile and fun, but we also made it
responsible. For a punchy engine it’s got very low CO2 emissions and provides
great miles per gallon. It’s also brilliant for your pocket, with low running costs,
cheaper fuel and insurance. Decide how you’ll find your way from A to B with
a choice of manual or automatic transmission.

Life is for living. But when it comes to your car, it’s best to be safe. For a compact car the new Alto is big on safety features. There are front and side airbags as standard and on the SZ4 model there’s curtain airbags as well.

There’s ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) which makes sure the optimum amount of braking power is distributed to each wheel and helps prevent the wheels locking or skidding on slippery surfaces, keeping you safely on the road.

In addition ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is standard on SZ4 models and helps you keep in control in adverse conditions by electronically assisting in braking and managing the engine speed. Whilst all this technology keeps everyone safe, some features specifically look after those who don’t even drive yet. ISOFIX child seat tethers are fitted as standard to look after your most precious cargo.
