allows more headroom and a commanding view of the road, making driving
safer and less stressful. The gently rising nose and A-pillars that flow into the
roof give a streamlined look and help the Splash cut effortlessly through the
air helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The Splash may be
compact, but it’s big on style.

When you’re rushing around you can’t always be perfectly turned out, but the Splash looks good anytime. The sharp design encompasses a sleek, agile look on the road. Even from a distance it’s styling is unmistakable. Get up close and things look even better. Notice the rear light clusters, set right at the corners to allow a wide tailgate for easy loading. Then there are the large multireflector headlamps that cut through the darkness and sporty touches such as alloy wheels and fog lamps on GLS+ and DDiS models. Best of all, even though it’s compact and a breeze to park, the Splash carries five adults in complete comfort.

The high seating position gives all occupants better all round vision. Whilst the generous legroom means even the longest trips can be enjoyed instead of endured. Even the gearshift has been mounted on the dash to keep it neatly out of the way.

Look around the interior of the Splash and it soon becomes evident it has everything you need. Space, high levels of comfort and finish, and storage compartments throughout the cabin. The rear seatback splits 60/40 for load lugging and can be easily reconfigured. Feeling thirsty? There are bottle holders in every door, in the front and behind the handbrake lever. Air conditioning, remote central door locking, trip computer, and MP3 compatible CD/radio are standard. As are electric front windows and six airbags.

The model range also features a leather steering wheel and a stylish metallic silver ringed centre console featuring a large easy to read speedometer with a dashboard mounted rev counter pod for all models.

There’s plenty of choices on the new Suzuki Splash. From exterior colour and interior trim to the engine under the bonnet, you can decide what you want. It comes with a choice of a lightweight 1.2 litre, 86PS four cylinder petrol engine or a 1.3 litre, 75PS diesel engine producing 190Nm of torque. Both come with a slick 5 speed manual transmission as standard, and an optional automatic gearbox is available with the petrol engine.

Designed to be compact, light and efficient, they both deliver great nippy performance whilst also being incredibly frugal. All offer low emissions, especially the diesel, which makes them ideal for the city. The 1.3DDiS diesel has a combined fuel consumption of 62.8mpg and CO 2 emissions of only 120g/km. Sounds complicated? Well all you really need to know is both engines have been designed to give you low fuel costs and emissions.
